Traditional hand-stitched made-to-measure coir doormats are perfect for fulfilling all of your requirements. Our made to measure coir matting offers you the possibility to customise a doormat to your specifications. Create your own traditional coir door mat in a matter of minutes. All you need to do is enter your desired size and choose a mat thickness. Also, you can personalise your traditional coir doormat. We offer the opportunity to add text and a motif to your doormat.

Our traditional coir door mats are perfect for use around the home, office and more. They are great in period properties, stables and more. The customised coir doormats are brilliant for use in mat wells in properties. They are available in 5 different thicknesses. We have something to suit everybody’s needs. Please note our traditional made to measure doormats are only suitable for indoor use only. This is due to the fact that coir is a natural product which comes from the outer shell of coconuts. Therefore, it is natural and biodegradable product.

THE TRADITIONAL HAND-STITCHED COIR DOORMAT ORDERING SERVICE

Ordering your traditional hand-stitched doormat could not be easier. In order to create your made to measure doormat choose your mat thickness and enter your size in millimetres and our calculator will automatically generate the cost of your mat.

MAKING AND PRINTING YOUR CUSTOM SIZE COIR DOORMAT

All of our made to measure coir door mats are hand-stitched and hand sprayed by us in our Suffolk workshop. Firstly, we start with plain coir matting on 30m x 2m rolls. By hand our trained craftsman cuts out and stitches the coir matting to to your specified size. Finally, if desired, we print any personalisation onto the mat. To personalise the doormat we hand spray them by using black ink and stencils.

DELIVERY TIMES OF A MADE TO MEASURE CUSTOM COIR DOOR MAT

We aim to make all of our traditional coir matting within 10 working days, however, delivery of our hand stitched coir matting can take up to 21 working days during extremely busy periods. If delivery of your doormat is time critical please contact us and we can confirm our current lead time and will do our best to speed up your order.

ADVICE WHEN CREATING YOUR TRADITIONAL COIR DOORMAT 

  • If you are ordering a traditional hand stitched coir door mat for a mat well, we recommend undersizing each measurement by 6mm in order to allow the mat to spread.
  • We are unable to guarantee how long any printing or personalisation will last on your mat. Over time and as the printing is walked over it will fade. The speed of the fading is dependent on the mat location and the amount of footfall. We recommend a plain traditional coir doormat for areas of heavy footfall or customers looking for mats to last many years in prime condition.
  • Please note all sizes are +/- 3mm tolerance.
